Braxton has lived and worked in Mobile, Alabama for over 35 years. He has a wide range of legal experience, ranging from General Counsel of Alabama State Docks, to Deputy Attorney General of the State of Alabama, to representing accident and injury victims in personal injury cases. 

Braxton graduated from the University of Virginia in 1980 where he lettered in football in 1977. He went on to receive his law degree from the University of Alabama in 1983. Braxton is licensed to practice law in the State of Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association and the Mobile County Bar Association. 

Braxton is the proud recipient of a 2021 “Distinguished: Peer Rated for High Professional Achievement” rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
